The alternative date for this is 8 December.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outage will affect all municipal customers in the greater Gansbaai area, from De Kelders to Pearly Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe 12-hour electricity outage is necessary for Eskom to perform maintenance on the Gansbaai substation and also to conduct work at the new 66kV feeder in Gansbaai,\u201d O\u2019Neill explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The municipality emphasised this should not be confused with the power outage that has been scheduled for the Hermanus and Gansbaai area for 25 January. The alternative date is 1 February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This outage, which takes place from 06:00 to 18:00, will affect the following areas: Gansbaai, Stanford, Hermanus, Sandbaai and a few streets in
