Other items that will be auction include a print of the Hermanus mural of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, an authentic 1994 voting sheet, a ?1,5 litre bottle of wine (magnum) from Creation Wines, four drums of different sizes, two tickets for a whale watching cruise, beaded sculptures and a specially designed and handcrafted Kapula candle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The four-course food and wine pairing for six people at La Pentola is valued at R8 000. Bidding for this starts at R2 000 while bidding for some of the other items start from as little as R50. The final bid closes at 16:00 on Thursday 10 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The items for this auction are all beautifully displayed in the meeting room at Volmoed, situated in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Volmoed is about 7 km from the Engen garage in Sandbaai, Hermanus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those who are interested in viewing the items can visit Volmoed between 09:00 and 16:00 from Wednesday 3 to Wednesday 10 October. Report to reception and you will be directed to the meeting room, which is at the back of the reception area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the gate is not open at Volmoed, press the button or call the number provided. If there is no response, you can text Reverend Edwin Arrison on 084 735 1835 or Wilma on 060 754 0348. You can also send a text to these two numbers if you wish to view the items after 16:00. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are unable to visit Volmoed but you wish to bid on one of the items, send a WhatsApp message or SMS to 084 735 1835 with your full name, surname, the item you wish to bid on and the amount you bid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
