Haar kreatiwiteit ken geen perke nie. As jy met Leane Koopman gesels, kom jy gou agter dat haar hande vir niks verkeerd staan nie.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al is di\u00e9 ma, ouma en werknemer van die Overstrand-munisipaliteit altyd besig met werk, kinders en raadgee, maak sy nog tyd vir juwele ontwerp, kerse maak en om verskillende resepte te toets. Maar dit is die skryfgogga wat maak dat di\u00e9 inwoner van Hawston nou in die nuus is.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leane s\u00ea sy is ‘n lojale Hawston-inwo\u00adner wat al haar lewe lank in di\u00e9 vissers\u00addorp woon. “Ek is die jongste van sewe kinders en ‘n boorling van Hawston. Dit is hier waar ek my passie vind en dit is ook hier waar ek my menswees kan uitleef,” vertel sy. Dit is nog een van die redes waarom sy besluit het om haar boek, Hope found Lea, op 16 Junie by die Hawston-lapa bekend te stel.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope found Lea gaan volgens haar oor oorwinning en persoonlike ontwikkeling te midde van probleme en struikelblokke op jou pad. “My boek gaan oor hoop en met dit ‘n vaste vertroue dat alles beter gaan word. Dit gaan ook oor persoonlike keuses. Ons staan elke nuwe dag voor keuses en dis ons verantwoordelikheid om die regte keuse te maak \u2013 hoe om te kies, om te wen en sterk te staan met God aan jou sy. Die doel met my boek is om soveel mense moontlik te bereik en di\u00e9 wat jare in pyn, trauma en teleurstelling vasgevang is, te help en te lei.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leane s\u00ea sy was nog altyd lief vir skryf, al was lees nie een van haar gunstelingaktiwiteite nie. “My grootmaaksuster het altyd met my gesukkel as dit by leer kom. Ek was ‘n dromer met ‘n ‘memory-boek’ aan die voorkant van my huiswerkboek, waar ek dan my gedagtes en gevoelens neergeskryf het. In hierdie boek kon ek myself met teken en skryf uitleef.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ander vroue inspireer haar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy s\u00ea sy het nooit gedink sy kon skryf nie, maar toe een van haar gedigte in ‘n digbundel verskyn het, het sy met nuwe o\u00eb na haar skryfwerk begin kyk. “As ‘n jong volwassene het ek vir Leserskring se po\u00ebsiekompetisie ingeskryf. My gedig ‘Death in my Family’ het toe verskyn en ek was in die wolke.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leane s\u00ea ander vroue se lewens\u00adpaaie, hul keuses en hoe hulle dit hanteer het, inspireer haar. “Elke mens se karakter kan iemand inspireer. Daar is ‘n seisoen in ander mense se lewe wat jou kan inspireer, jou kan help en jou weer kan moed gee. Dis die vroue se lewenspaaie en selfs my susters en my ma wat my inspireer om elke dag op te staan, kreatief te wees en ‘n verskil in ander se lewe te maak.” Vir Leane speel geloof ‘n belangrike rol in haar lewe. “Ek pak niks sonder die Here aan nie en probeer net volg waar Jesus my lei.” Sy wil verder ook vir elke leser die boodskap bring \u2013 dat jou omstandighede waaruit jy kom, nie jou toekoms bepaal nie. “Daar is hoop \u2013 ek het dit in Jesus gevind. Almal moet hoor jy is nie alleen nie \u2013 Hy is daar en Hy wag vir jou om Hom aan te roep.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haar raad aan ander wat graag iets wil publiseer: “Neem net die eerste\u2009stap, moenie bang wees om te vra nie en kry vir jou ‘n skryfafrigter\u2009wat jou skeppende reis saam met jou kan aanpak.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
