Tuesday (27 May) marked a first for the Stellenbosch Municipality when the very first Junior Town Council (JTC) of municipality was sworn in. The initiative aims to gives young leaders a seat at the table, empowering them to learn about the inner workings of local government, get involved in community outreach and represent the voices of their peers.
