Die Van der Stel-Evergreens-rugbyklub (VDE) het onlangs ‘n borgskap van 150 sweetpakke en rugsakke by Cofco Intl., ‘n landbou-sakeonderneming in Stellenbosch, ontvang. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cofco Intl. is ‘n platform van die Cofco-korperasie, een van die grootste landbou- en voedselmaatskappye in China, met belange w\u00eareldwyd. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tydens die oorhandiging in die klubhuis by Bergzicht het FW Ras, een van die handelaars van Cofco Intl., ges\u00ea die skenking is die maatskappy se belegging in die gemeenskap. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ons wil help met die opheffing van die gemeenskap en ook betrokke raak om verantwoordelike burgerskap in Stellenbosch te vestig, waar ons maatskappy se kantoor is,” s\u00ea Ras.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Ruiters, die ondervoorsitter van VDE, het sy dank namens die klub teen-oor Cofco vir die skenking uitgespreek. “Ons wil graag ons opregte dank teenoor Cofco International uitspreek vir sy ruim borgskap van 150 sweetpakke en rugsakke aan die rugbyklub. Julle ondersteuning versterk nie net ons span se gees en eenheid nie, maar weerspie\u00ebl ook ‘n betekenisvolle belegging in ons spelers en die bre\u00ebr gemeenskap. Ons is trots om jul naam te dra en baie dankbaar vir jul volgehoue toewyding aan plaaslike sport,” s\u00ea Ruiters.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die borgskap is moontlik gemaak deur die bemiddeling van Juanita van Ryneveld, die wedstrydsekretaris en -kommissaris by VDE en ‘n junior rekenmeester by Cofco.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spelers het by die oorhandiging met die sweetpakke en rugsakke gepronk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
