Daar is lank genoeg agter wollerige mooiwoordjies weggekruip.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So het die Adam Tas-studentevereniging in \u2018n verklaring bekendgemaak hulle is gereed om Universiteit Stellenbosch (US) die stryd aan te s\u00ea n\u00e1 die aankondiging van die universiteit se nuwe taalbeleid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die aankondiging dat Engels voortaan as die prim\u00eare voertaal van die US gebruik gaan word, is Vrydag 13 November gemaak n\u00e1 \u2018n \u2018n buitegewone vergadering Donderdag 12 November plaasgevind het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luidens Adam Tas se verklaring sal&nbsp;di\u00e9 dag as \u2018n dag van \u201cblatante tirannie\u201d onthou word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDit sal \u2018n dag wees wat in die verstande van die liefhebbers, sprekers, beleggers en belangstellendes &nbsp;van Afrikaans, isiXhosa en al agt ander Suid-Afrikaanse amptelike inheemse tale, asook die antieke Nama-, San-, en Khoi-tale, verewig word as \u2018n dag waar gemiddelheid bo uitnemendheid gese\u00ebvier het.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luidens die verklaring is Adam Tas gereed om voort te veg vir Afrikaans se huidige posisie as \u2018n gevestigde akademiese en institusionele taal op die US, om sodoende ook die weg vir isiXhosa se aktiewe ontwikkeling en opheffing te baan, en leiding te neem in die stryd om die bevordering en ontwikkeling van ons land se inheemse tale op ho\u00ebr onderwys-vlak in die algemeen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJulle het sopas hierdie vereniging en almal wat erns het met Afrikaans en sy strydmakker isiXhosa, op die frontlinie geplaas van die begin van niks anders as \u2019n Derde Taalstryd nie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p>Adam Tas beweer die volgende prosedurele ongeregte kom in die beleidsdokument voor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018n Tekort aan demokratiese deelname aangesien slegs Sasco en Open Stellenbosch by die besprekings betrokke was.<\/li>\n<li>Die beleidvoerende proses op \u2018n onderduimse manier plaasgevind het.<\/li>\n<li>Die tydsberekening
