Community Keepers het sy sewende skoolkantoor in Stellenbosch by Spark Lynedoch geopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Philip Geldenhuys, uitvoerende hoof van Community Keepers, het ges\u00ea soos by die ander skole sal hulle \u2019n voltydse maatskaplike werker by Spark plaas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDaar gaan ook weekliks \u2019n sielkundige wees om dienste aan die kinders te lewer.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spark is \u2019n privaatskoolgroep wat bekostigbare, gehalteonderrig lewer en het in Johannesburg ontstaan. Spark Lynedoch is die sesde Spark-skool in Suid-Afrika en die eerste in die Wes-Kaap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spark Lynedoch het in Jan 2016 sy deure geopen en is by die Sustainability Instituut gebaseer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sowat 95% van die huidige leerders is van die omliggende plase en kan hul skoolloopbaan danksy beurse voortsit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Geldenhuys het ges\u00ea hoewel gehalteonderrig aan die kinders by Spark gebied word, het baie van hulle \u2019n behoefte aan ondersteuning op sosiale en sielkundige gebied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDit is dan ook waarom ons die kantoor hier geopen het. Die Lunchbox Fund is reeds betrokke by voeding by Spark en daarom is hierdie \u2019n poging om \u2019n vennootskap te vestig wat ho\u00ebkwaliteit onderrig bied asook goeie voeding en dan ook sosiale en sielkundige ondersteuning. Die impak van hierdie vennootskap gaan ten nouste gemonitor word ten einde die suksesse te dokumenteer en hopelik uit te rol by nog baie ander skole.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Geldenhuys is ook dankbaar vir Spier wat die Community Keepers se kantoor by Spark Lynedoch moontlik gemaak het deur dit te finansier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens Willy Maliwa, kringbestuurder van die Kaapse Wynlanddistrik se onderwysdepartement, ondersteun hul hierdie inisiatieften volle wat \u2019n voorbeeld vir volhoubare vennootskappe tussen die Wes Kaapse onderwysdepartement, privaatinstansies en besighede kan wees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
