An unusual data gathering exercise has recently taken place in the Rhenish Primary School library, with a question posed to all who enter: \u201cIf a frog told you it was a prince (or princess) would you kiss it?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By the end of the same day, the enthusiasm for participation had grown, showing a surprising number of people still living in the hope of fantasy being alive and well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Discussion around the point has ranged from, \u201cThink about a proper frog, not a cute cartoon!\u201d to \u201cWhy not? A kiss can be just a quick little kiss!\u201d or \u201cWhy torment yourself for the rest of your life wondering what would have happened if you had done it?\u201d as well as \u201cIt\u2019s a talking frog \u2013 it must be magic!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nearly all the staff as well as children participated. Next week a class will analyse the final graph during a Maths lesson, by tallying the responses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It looks as if the results will be evenly spread among boys and girls alike \u2013 the world of make-believe is still with us! Perhaps we\u2019re just reluctant to entertain it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
