Learners at St Vincent RC Primary School in Koelenhof have a brand-new library and a computer room with 40 computers, where they can do assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An excited Sister Lucie Saul, the school principal, says the new facilities mean a lot to the school. \u201cA lot of our children live on the surrounding farms and don\u2019t have the means to get to town,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m excited to see how they develop from here onwards and to just have fun. If you can read and write you can achieve a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sister Lucie, who has been at the school for 16 years, says the children are also looking forward to using the new facilities, describing it as \u201ca dream come true\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is a great achievement, and we believe this centre will help us grow,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Twenty of the computers were sponsored by Nedbank, and the other 20 by the Western Cape Education Department. The library was also supported by the local municipality. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
