Die Klapmuts-ontwikkelingsforum (Kof) is in 2019 op die been gebring nadat die behoefte aan \u2019n forum ontstaan het. Hulle kon dit egter weens die Covid-19-pandemie nie bekend stel nie. Dit is bevind dat meer as 30 ondernemings in Klapmuts nie die ondersteuning van \u2019n soortgelyke forum gehad het nie, daarom was die doel om die ondernemings te orden sodat hulle hul volle potensiaal kan bereik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOns kantoor is by die Klapmuts-sportterrein. Die Kof se uitvoerende raad word deur doodgewone mense bedryf, wat vrywillig saamwerk om saam met alle rolspelers te verseker dat Klapmuts \u2019n veiliger en beter gemeenskap vir almal is,\u201d het Michelle Maluqua, die ondervoorsitter van Kof, ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kof is \u2019n nieregeringsorganisasie en is afhanklik van borge en skenkings en word deur Ranyaka Community Transformation, Stellenbosch Bridge sowel as Klein Goederust in Franschoek ondersteun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOns slagspreuk is: Mense wat saamwerk vir volhoubare ontwikkeling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maluqua s\u00ea Kof tree in gesprek met ondernemings, ontwikkelaars en verskeie rolspelers om by te dra tot die ontwikkeling van Klapmuts. \u201cEen van ons doelwitte is om entrepreneurskap-programme vir ons jeug te ontwikkel.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die Klapmuts-ontwikkelingsforum se uitvoerende raad bestaan uit Elliot Bikwana (voorsitter), Michelle Maluqua (ondervoorsitter), Donavan Davids (sekretaris), Juanita Engelbrecht (hulpsekretaris) en Jeremy Maluqua (tesourier).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Onder die gaste wat die geleentheid bygewoon het, was verteenwoordigers van Stellenbosch Bridge, Ranyaka Community Transformation, Rozetta du Toit en JC Anthony (raadslede) en Paul Siqua van Klein Goederust wat ook die geleentheid bygewoon het.
