Die inisiatief is deur die Keerom- en Groendal-buurtwagte van stapel gestuur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die buurtwag het onlangs \u2019n skeepsvraghouer van die munisipaliteit ontvang wat hulle beoog om in \u2019n kontrolekamer vir die buurtwag om te skep. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDit is nou nie soos die een in Stellenbosch nie, maar die plan is om onder te begin en dit met daardie een te verbind. Ons wil graag die kontrolekamer toerus sodat kommunikasie tussen lede wat in die strate beweeg en die mense in die kontrolekamer makliker en meer doeltreffend kan geskied,\u201d verduidelik Alexander-Juries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vir nou gebruik die lede die skeepshouer as \u2019n bymekaarkomplek en vir vergaderings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alexander-Juries s\u00ea hulle wil die skeepshouer opknap en verf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOns het finansiering nodig om verf aan te koop of selfs skenkings vir verf sal ook welkom wees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die buurtwag s\u00ea hulle wil graag h\u00ea ondernemings moet in hulle bel\u00ea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOns wil h\u00ea sakeondernemings moet ons ondersteun en van ons gebruik maak. Ons hou die strate veilig en die skole gebruik ons ook om te help met veiligheid by gesellighede. Ons patrolleer die strate en rondom die plaaslike ondernemings,\u201d voeg Alexander-Juries by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
