Runners ready to take the bull by the horns, and are preparing for this year\u2019s Absa Run Your City Series (RYCS), can start by entering the first Strava Challenge, the Run.Climb.Run Challenge, this coming Sunday (22 January). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is held in preparation for the Absa Run Your City Cape Town 10K on Sunday 14 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants have from 05:00 to 23:00 to complete this weekend\u2019s challenge, and they can do so over the distance of their choice. They choose their own location and route, but need to join the RYCS Running Club on Strava. If you do not have a Strava account you need to do so before joining the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To enter the challenge, click on the \u201cI\u2019m in\u201d button and record your run using a smart phone or watch. You must share their elevation gain, activities, pictures and routes to the RYCS Strava Club page by 23:00 Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The five runners and walkers to clock the most climbing will go into a lucky draw to win a pair of Puma Nitro running shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
