On Monday morning (13 February), 23 children and two adults were injured when the taxi they travelled in crashed into a ditch off the R101 in Klapmuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ER24 and other services were dispatched at 08:10. On arrival, medics found a taxi upright in a roadside ditch. Several children were seated near the vehicle while others were led to the Klapmuts Police office station across the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Medics assessed the patients and found that 23 children, aged between 6 and 18, had sustained minor to moderate injuries, while two adults had sustained moderate injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The patients were treated and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
