The tireless work of the staff and volunteers of the Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch (AWSS) has been recognised globally, with the local organisation named the Best Animal Non-Profit Shelter at the MEA Markets African Excellence Awards for 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The awards are an essential guide to the key sectors driving growth throughout the continent. It rewards outstanding companies and individuals whose entrepreneurship have strengthened Africa\u2019s position as the next global economic powerhouse. The winners are determined through an innovative selection process based on merit, and the strict criteria ensures that only the most deserving go on to be successful in the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
