Wynmakers in die Stellenbosch-distrik het uitsonderlik gevaar in vanjaar se Jongwynskou. Vanjaar se Stellenbosch-jongwynskou het 171 inskrywings van 17 kelders opgelewer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Stellenbosch-jongwynskou is verlede Dinsdag (29 Augustus) by De Warenmarkten-restaurant in Stellenbosch gehou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Wet Viljoen, die voorsitter van die Stellenbosch-jongwynskou, s\u00ea 2023 was \u2019n goeie jaar vir Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie witwyne het besonderse mooi kultivar-geure getoon. Aan die rooi kant was die wyne se balans tussen rypheid, konsentrasie en vrug uitmuntend,\u201d verduidelik Viljoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy voeg by die beoordelaars se indrukke oor die plaaslike wyne oor die algemeen was baie goed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie beoordelaars was be\u00efndruk met die konstantheid asook die konsentrasie van die Stellenbosch-streek se wyne.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die deelnemers in vanjaar se kompetisie was baie be\u00efndruk met die proses en die kompetisie in geheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c2023 was \u2019n jaar waar die wyne stadiger as gewoonlik ontwikkel het. Dit het tot \u2019n senuagtige begin van die seisoen gelei,\u201d s\u00ea Bertho van der Westhuizen van Alto Wyne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cN\u00e1 die uitslae van die nasionale Jongwynskou kan ons egter uitsien na \u2019n baie goeie jaar.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johan Jordaan van Spier Wyne s\u00ea ten spyte van die abnormale nat somer toon die wyne van 2023 besondere soepelheid en toeganklikheid. \u201cCabernet sauvignon as kultivar ontwikkel stadig en beloof om klassiek te wees teen die tyd dat dit die mark betree,\u201d s\u00ea Jordaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDie sauvignon blanc-wyne was oorlaai van vrug en is deur tropiese karakters oorheers. Ek dink wel die 2023-wyne benodig meer tyd as gewoonlik om hul volle potensiaal te bereik,\u201d het RJ Botha van Kleine Zalze bygevoeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
