In \u2019n poging om veiligheid in die strate van Cloetesville te bewerkstellig, het die Cloetesville-polisie die afgelope naweek die stryd teen onwettige vuurwapens voortgesit en twee vuurwapens, in twee afsonderlike voorvalle, afgeneem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die polisie het Vrydag 15 September inligting ontvang oor \u2019n vuurwapen en dit suksesvol opgevolg. \u201cTydens patrollie\u00addienste in Sylviastraat, Cloetesville, het hulle twee mense \u2013 \u2019n vrou en \u2019n man \u2013 opgemerk. Hulle is deursoek en \u2019n .38- Special-rewolwer met vyf rondes ammunisie is by die vrou gevind, wat sy onder haar klere versteek het. Die vrou (26) en die man (24) word aangehou en die saak word nog ondersoek,\u201d het AO Zenobia Sedeman, \u2019n polisiewoordvoerder, ges\u00ea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sedeman s\u00ea op dieselfde dag is weer inligting ontvang oor \u2019n vuurwapen wat op \u2019n erf in Jakarandastraat versteek is. \u201cDie inligting is opgevolg en nog \u2019n .38- Special-rewolwer is in die buitetoilet van die woning gevind. Niemand is in hegtenis geneem nie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
