Rhythmic gymnastics combines the elements of gymnastics and dance, using handheld equipment, namely ribbons, ropes, balls, hoops and clubs. <\/p>\n<p>Mienke and Zahra competed in their respective age groups during the competition. After a very challenging Level 4 competition, Zahra Ferreira placed second overall in the Level 4 under-11 age group and bagged two apparatus medals, placing first for clubs and second for free dance.
