Ineke Brynard, a current Grade 12 learner at Rhenish Girls\u2019 High School, recently signed a full scholarship with Morehead State University in Kentucky, USA, where she will be part of the university\u2019s golfing programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year the golfing talent tied in first place in the Western Province Provincial Women\u2019s Amateur Championship and finished fifth in the South African Women\u2019s Amateur Match Play Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She ranked as the number 1 senior and junior player in the Boland Ladies\u2019 Golf Union and won the Boland Ceres Open and Junior Championship. Furthermore, Ineke was selected as captain of the Boland u-19 women\u2019s team and currently holds the title of De Zalze Golf Club women\u2019s club champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIneke is an experienced and driven amateur, who is highly recommended by her coaches and educators,\u201d said Stephanie Baker, head coach of the Morehead State University golfing programme. \u201cI am impressed with the fact that Ineke has been a top-ranked junior in South Africa for the last three years, and most recently has moved up to a South African junior ranking of seventh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
