Williams-Koopman was \u2019n bekende in die gemeenskap voordat sy voorverlede Dinsdagoggend (24 Maart) n\u00e1 \u2019n kort siekte in die ouderdom van 72 oorlede is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens haar geliefdes is dit met leedwese dat hulle afskeid neem van hul geliefde suster, ma, ouma, tannie en boesemvriendin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Williams-Koopman is op 14 Junie 1952 in Stellenbosch gebore as die oudste dogter van Isak en Katy du Toit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nadat sy haar skoolloopbaan by St. Philliminas in Idasvallei voltooi het, het sy by verskeie plaaslike ondernemings gewerk. Sy het onder meer by I. L. Back Clothing Factory as \u2019n masjinis, by die La Femme-haarsalon en die Baumann Biscuit Factory gewerk. Haar laaste betrekking was by die Stellenbosch-hospitaal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSy sal onthou word as \u2019n stylvolle vrou, wat graag na haar voorkoms omgesien het,\u201d meen haar familie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Williams-Koopman het drie kinders uit haar eerste huwelik gehad. Die jongste, Angus, het haar reeds ontval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sy word oorleef deur haar seun, dogter, 10 kleinkinders, haar broer en vier susters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
