\u2019n Ondersoek is van stapel gestuur nadat die eerstejaarstudent (19) Donderdag 28 Maart uit \u2019n venster van die Metanoia-koshuis geval het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sy is op die toneel deur nooddienste gehelp en per ambulans hospitaal toe geneem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Metanoia-koshuis is die US se grootste gemengde koshuis wat behuising vir 501 studente bied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Netwerk24 <\/em>het verlede week berig die student word in die hospitaal deur haar familie bygestaan en het moontlik \u2019n gebreekte been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Mei 2019 het \u2019n Matie, Tayli\u00eb Chamondr\u00e9 Jaap, ook uit \u2019n koshuisvenster geval. Di\u00e9 geval was ook op die plaaslike kampus, maar by die Serruria-koshuis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDie universiteit bly in kontak met die student, met die nuutste inligting wat daarop dui dat haar toestand verbeter,\u201d het Martin Viljoen, \u2019n woordvoerder van die universiteit, by navraag ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDie US sal poog om waar toepaslik by te dra tot ondersoekpogings soos vereis deur die polisie.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n By navraag het kapt. Nathalie Martin, \u2019n woordvoerder van die Stellenbosch-polisie, bevestig \u2019n ondersoek is geopen, maar omdat die 19-jarige slagoffer steeds in die hospitaal is, het sy nog nie \u2019n
