Die man wat Oshwin Andries (19) van Klapmuts op 29 Januarie 2023 na bewering met \u2019n mes gesteek het waarna hy dae later \u2013 op 4 Februarie \u2013 in sy ma se arms dood is, is op borgtog van R500 vrygelaat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dimitri Jonker het Vrydag 21 Junie in die Paarl-landdroshof verskyn \u2013 langer as \u2019n jaar nadat hy Oshwin na bewering in \u2019n kuierplek in Klapmuts met \u2019n mes in die kop en rug gesteek het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens die Paarl-landdroshof is die saak tot Dinsdag 23 Julie vir \u2019n streekhofdatum uitgestel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die landdroshof se staatsaanklaer was nie beskikbaar om navrae van Eikestadnuus <\/i>te beantwoord nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Van di\u00e9 vrae sluit in hoekom Jonker van poging tot moord en nie moord aangekla is nie, asook hoekom hy op borgtog vrygelaat is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens Natasha Andries, Oshwin se ma, het die reg haar gefaal omdat Jonker vir langer as \u2019n jaar op vrye voet in Klapmuts rondgeloop het voordat die Klapmuts-polisie hom uiteindelik Dinsdag 18 Junie in hegtenis geneem het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sy s\u00ea die polisie het haar ook nie in kennis gestel dat Jonker daardie Vrydag in die hof verskyn het nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sy moes di\u00e9 nuus by een van haar ander seuns hoor, wat dit op sy beurt by \u2019n vriend gehoor het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDie speurder [wat die saak ondersoek] het dit aan my seun se vriend ges\u00ea, maar nie daaraan gedink om my daarvan te s\u00ea nie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens Natasha wil sy weet hoekom Jonker op borgtog van net R500 vrygelaat is, aangesien hy glo \u2019n gewelddadige geskiedenis het en blykbaar ook \u2019n bendelid is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDit gaan nie goed met ons nie. Hy [Jonker] loop hier rond asof hy niks verkeerd gedoen het nie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Natasha s\u00ea sy sal 23 Julie in die hof wees, en sal daarna elke hofverrigting bywoon sodat geregtigheid vir haar seun kan geskied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n Eikestadnuus <\/i>het na kapt. Jacobus Moos, die bevelvoerder van die Klapmuts-polisie, uitgereik. Hy het ges\u00ea die polisie het \u201cgeen inligting\u201d oor die saak nie en die koerant weggewys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die koerant het destyds berig dat \u2019n onderonsie glo tussen Oshwin en Jonker ontstaan toe Oshwin \u201cgrapperig\u201d vir Jonker gevra het hoekom hy so naby aan Oshwin se meisie geloop het waar hulle in \u2019n straat in Mandela City in Klapmuts gestaan het (\u201cA sad day for local soccer\u201d, 9 Februarie 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die onderonsie het vinnig tot \u2019n einde gekom waarna Oshwin en sy meisie, Ruch\u00e9 van Rooyen, na \u2019n kuierplek geloop het. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daar gekom, het Jonker oomblikke later die kuierplek na bewering met \u2019n mes in die hand binnegegaan, waar hy glo Oshwin, asook ander wat in die kuierplek was, gesteek het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oshwin is n\u00e1 die aanval met \u2019n ambulans na die Stellenbosch-hospitaal geneem, waar hy gestabiliseer is en \u2019n dag later (30 Januarie 2023) ontslaan is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nadat hy erge pyn in sy rug begin ervaar het, en \u2019n toeval by die huis gekry het, is hy ses dae later (4 Februarie 2023) op pad na die hospitaal oorlede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens Natasha is haar seun weens interne bloeding oorlede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oshwin was \u2019n verdediger vir die Stellenbosch-sokkerklub en was tot nou die klub se jongste doelskieter in die DStv-premierskap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oshwin was ook die kaptein van die Suid-Afrikaanse o.20-sokkerspan wat in die Afcon-Cosafa-reeks gespeel het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOshwin het van sesjarige ouderdom af al sokker gespeel. Hy was \u2019n goeie kind en baie grapperig. Hy was vol dinge en wou altyd alles mooi en reg h\u00ea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
