Di\u00e9 inisiatief is deur Alex Bischoff, \u2019n inwoner van die Bosmans Crossing-woonstelblok, van stapel gestuur en \u2019n paar ander plaaslike inwoners het vinnig ingespring om te help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saam het die groep in September byeengekom en rommel al langs die Kromrivier, langs die woonstelblok, opgetel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dit blyk dat rommel wat in die rivier beland, hier in die oorgroeide walle van die rivier ophoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sewe inwoners \u2013 gewapen met hul swartsakke en skenkings van versnaperings en energiedrankies \u2013 het begin skoonmaak, ten spyte van die uitdaging om by die rivierwalle in Papegaaiberg uit te kom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saam het die groep 25 sakke vol rommel opgetel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hulle het eers later uitgevind die Stellenbosch-munisipaliteit sou hierdie sakke gratis verwyder, maar die groep s\u00ea hulle sal di\u00e9 re\u00ebling vir hul volgende skoonmaak onthou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
