A group of happy and excited chefs recently received their chef diplomas at a formal function held at Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nine of the group of 10 graduates who participated in Stellemploy\u2019s programme have already found employment in the hospitality industry before receiving their final results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The diploma ceremony took place on Wednesday 27 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of them were promoted from commis<\/em> chefs (junior chef) to chef de partie<\/em> (a station chef) as soon as they received their final results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Two of the graduates, Rodwill Johannes and Bukho Nogcado, were offered permanent positions at Grande Provence Wine Estate in Franschhoek, and Capelands Wine Farm in Somerset West respectively within three months after starting their internships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Stellemploy was offered an internship by a wine farm near Somerset West which required for the specific intern to stay on the premises. The internship was offered it to Nogcado, who was orphaned during the Covid-19 pandemic. He grasped the opportunity with both hands and made such a success of it he was soon offered a permanent position at Capelands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This life-changing chef training programme was made
