The TrailFun Youth Day Run<\/a> will celebrate trying, starting and showing up \u2013 even when you’re not sure how it’s going to go \u2013 at Middelvlei Wine Estate<\/a> on Tuesday 16 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the run for your first trail event, first run in a while or first step back after a break. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The routes are clearly marked, broken into manageable sections, and designed to be walk-friendly and welcoming. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need experience. You don’t need speed. You just need the willingness to begin.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5 km run is an entry-level event, but also a fast race if you’re a strong runner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10 km route leaves the 5 km runners at the mini aid station and explores the far side of the farm. Walkers are welcome on both routes.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants in the 5 km start at 08:00, while those lacing up for the longer route start at 07:40. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost of R120 to R360 includes access to the aid station with spring water from Cape Aqua, fruit portions, jelly sweets and salted potatoes, a finisher’s medal, a pair of THE Socks<\/a> for the Youth Day event, a bottle of spring water, a complimentary wine tasting at the finish and runner-only wine purchase special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffee and breakfast will be on sale before and after the run, with the prize-giving and lucky draw at 09:30.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
