“Spanne teen wie die juniors speel, sluit in Van der Stel-Evergreens, Wemmershoek, Dennegeur, Simondium en La Motte en die kompetisie onder die spanne is taai. Die meeste van ons spelers is van Lanquedoc, maar daar is ook ander van omliggende gebiede in ons spanne, want ons wil vir soveel spelers moontlik die kans gee om rugby te speel.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Net soos enige klub het Lanquedoc All Stars ook talle uitdagings en behoeftes.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Ons het geen borge nie en vervoer is ons grootste uitgawe. Ons moet betaal vir die besproeiing van ons rugbyveld en het nie geld om ‘n paviljoen vir ons onder-\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
steuners te bou nie. Maar ons hoop daar is ‘n barmhartige samaritaan daar buite wat ons hiermee sal help,” s\u00ea Arendse.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n Die Dwarsriviervallei-sewestoernooi was volgens hom ‘n goeie inisiatief deur die Pni\u00ebl Villagers-rugbyklub om die Dwarsriviervallei-gemeenskap bymekaar te bring.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Ek dink dit was uitstekend gere\u00ebl en ek wil Pni\u00ebl Villagers ‘n klop op die skouer gee. Aan al die ander spanne teen wie ons gespeel het, wil ek dankie s\u00ea, want ons het baie geleer uit elke wedstryd en sal nou daarop voortbou,” voeg Arendse by.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Vir die gemeenskap wil ek namens die bestuur dankie s\u00ea vir hul lojale ondersteuning die afgelope 20 jaar, nie net by die sewestoernooi nie, maar deur die jare. Die klub nooi enigeen uit om te kom help en dat almal hul kinders moet stuur om by die juniors en seniors aan te sluit.
