Die saak teen die vermeende kinder-moordenaar Elizabeth Japie van Jamestown is tot Dinsdag 25 Februarie 2026 uitgestel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japie staan tereg op verskeie aanklagte, insluitend moord en dwarsboming van die gereg, nadat haar suster se sesjarige seuntjie, Zandr\u00e9 Japie, op 3 Mei 2024 in haar woning in Jamestown dood aangetref is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japie word verdink van die moord nadat haar suster glo haar seuntjie na Japie in Stellenbosch gestuur het nadat Zandr\u00e9 se ma na bewering nie vir hom in ‘n skool plek kon kry nie. ‘n Paar dae nadat hy in Stellenbosch aangekom het, was die seuntjie egter dood.

Japie se saak is tydens haar verskyning in die Stellenbosch-streekhof op Woensdag 10 Desember tot aanstaande jaar uitgestel om haar regsverteenwoordiger tyd te gee om met die saak vertroud te raak.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is nadat haar oorspronklike regsverteenwoordiger aan die saak onttrek het en die daaropvolgende prokureur in November nie by die hof opgedaag het nie. Japie het toe aangedui sy sal van ‘n regshulp-prokureur gebruik maak.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
