Illicit goods with an estimated street value of R90 000 was seized during an operation in Stellenbosch by the provincial police’s Counterfeit Goods Unit (CGU) last Tuesday (2 December).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the products seized were cellphone covers, tobacco paper, board games, card games, shoe polish, lubricant, hair-care products and PVC glue. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation forms part of a broader crackdown on illicit trade across the province, as the unit intensifies its efforts to disrupt and dismantle these networks.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
