The Rotary Club of Stellenbosch recently reconnected with one of its pioneering projects, Molenhof Retirement Home. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heartwarming ceremony was attended by club members and residents. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event marked a significant milestone in the club’s ongoing commitment to community service and environmental sustainability.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a symbolic gesture, member of the Rotary club planted three water oak trees in the Molenhof garden, embodying the club’s dedication to protecting the planet and promoting a greener future. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative aligns perfectly with Rotary’s environmental sustainability pillar, one of the seven areas of focus for the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The connection between Rotary and Molenhof dates back to 1957, when the club built the retirement home as part of its community-service projects. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reconnection is a testament to Rotary’s vision for sustainable community development and its commitment to making a lasting impact in the local community. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The environment is one of Rotary’s key areas of focus, and we’re thrilled to be reconnecting with Molenhof,” said president Laurence Chambers. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our goal is to have a meaningful presence in Stellenbosch and contribute to the local communities.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
