Die polisievrou se kollega is ongedeerd het Kurt Maske, ‘n ER24-paramedikus, by navraag ges\u00ea.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Soos wat ons verstaan was die twee beamptes besig met patrollie in die area toe hulle op twee persone wat baklei, afgekom het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Die beamptes het die situasie probeer ontlont en dis toe dat ‘n onbekende vrou die een beampte met ‘n voorwerp op haar rug geslaan het.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Een van die twee persone wat aanvanklik baklei het is ernstig beseer. Hy was in die bors gesteek,” het Maske verduidelik.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dit is in die stadium onduidelik watter voorwerp gebruik is om die beampte aan te val.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens Maske het die voorval omstreeks 21:30 naby die taxi-staanplek in Mooiwater, Groendal plaasvind.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Met paramedici se aankoms was daar ‘n groot skare en sommiges was oproerig. Dis toe dat daar besluit is om die beampte na die Franschhoek-polisiekantoor vir behandeling te vervoer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Die man wat gesteek is tydens die bakleiery is na ‘n hospitaal in die omgewing vir behandeling vervoer. Die polisie het die man met wie hy baklei het in hegtenis geneem.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Die vrou wat die beampte geslaan het is ook aangekeer,” s\u00ea Maske.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
