At least 200 children received much needed school shoes during the first week of opening by the Libra Trust, a project spearheaded annually by Peter Peterson as a means of remembering his daughter, Tracey Agram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She died in 2015 and was very involved in assisting underprivileged children. Perpetuating her passion served to remind him of her selflessness and keep her memory alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He described his daughter as humble and passionate about children and was devastated at her death from a heart attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Thursday (20 January) Agram\u2019s joyful spirit was clearly seen in the eyes of numerous children who were jubilant at not being forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Learners of ACJ Phakade received shoes, bags and uniforms, before trips were made to Rusthof Primary and Dr GJ Joubert Primary School for additional handovers. \u201cI come from a disadvantaged background myself and this is a matter close to my heart.
