Be a whistleblower by reporting just one wrong doing, and you can help an entire community, aid saving a life and curb crimes. This past weekend vigilant community members of Macassar, including the local ward councillor Peter Helfrich, helped authorities nab suspected cable thieves who have been relentless in their quest to loot for a quick buck. Their collective efforts, which resulted in numerous arrests and the recovery of cables, served as proof of what can be achieved when a community comes together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all want the best for ourselves and the next generation. The only way to ensure this is to be part of the solution. Do not be one of those who stand on the sidelines and criticise the authorities or other entities.
