With three decades of surfing experience for both Boland and Winelands provinces, Marais has witnessed a significant shift in team members’ overall demeanour. “I’ve seen a big shift in the last couple of years, with surfers who are hungry to better their game and succeed. The Winelands team’s success at the SA Masters Champs was a collective effort, with most surfers reaching the quarter-finals or semi-finals and accumulating crucial points for the team. Notable finalists from Cape Winelands included Geoffrey Greeves (over-35), Richard Heath (over-50) and Geoff Johnston (over-60).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
