Both associations demonstrated their commitment to fostering a peaceful, safe and reliable public transportation system within the Western Cape, prioritising passenger welfare above all else.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The industry sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused during this time. Santaco Western Cape emphasises that all parties are committed to staying proactive in addressing and resolving key issues collaboratively, working together to build a safer, more sustainable public transportation system for everyone,&#8221; the statement divulged.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Western Cape government also welcomed the agreement between the taxi associations to resolve conflicts on the Mfuleni-Somerset and Khayelitsha-Somerset routes. \u201cWe commend all parties involved for prioritising commuter safety and for reaffirming their shared responsibility to uphold peace and order within the taxi industry.
