Harare police told City Vision <\/span>they found four charred bodies on the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Harare police spokesperson Capt Siyabulela Vukubi said they are investigating the cause of the inferno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPolice attended the scene and encountered four chared bodies who were declared dead on the scene. The victims is a 65-year-old together with her grandchildren aged between four and 12,\u201d said Vukubi. He said police have opened an inquest docket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Spokesperson for the City\u2019s Fire and Rescue Service, Jermaine Carelse, confirmed that four persons died in a fire in Makhaza on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe City\u2019s Fire & Rescue Service was alerted at 03:40 of a dwelling fire in Lulwane Street, Khayelitsha. Crews from Lansdowne Road, Khayelitsha and Mitchell\u2019s Plain were dispatched to the scene and reported that the fire was extinguished prior to their arrival,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Carelse said the formal dwelling sustained partial damage, but a search of the property led to the discovery of the four bodies \u2013 four females (two infants, a child and an adult). <\/p>\n\n\n\n He said
