The boys from Khayelitsha narrowly lost 13-10 to Pniel Villagers last weekend and are still leaking their wounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, neighbours Busy Bee will be seeking to sharpen their sting and continue their winning momentum when square up against Scottsdene Central in Langa on the same day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a stuttering start of two consecutive losses, the men from Langa grabbed their first win of the season when they defeated Eersterivier 22-20 at home over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are now eighth on the log with five points, tied with seventh place Primrose and four points adrift of Blue Jet in sixth position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A bonus point win against Scottsdene, who are ninth on the log, could elevate them to fifth position depending on the outcomes of the matches between Blue Jet and Macassar, and Goodwood and Primrose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, a win for Blue Jet could also push them up to the second spot on the 15-team log table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While it is still early days, they are fully aware that they cannot afford to lose many games in succession. Their game against Macassar will be a true test of their character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thembani Ngubelanga, Director of Coaches at Blue Jet, told City Vision <\/span>they are hurting from the Villagers\u2019 defeat. He described the match as balanced and lack of accuracy from the team\u2019s kicker as their downfall. With another game at home, Ngubelanga is adamant about a victory. \u201cI can smell a bonus victory,\u201d he said. \u201cWe are going to teach them a lesson. All our teams are in good condition and at the necessary level.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Director of rugby at Busy Bee Msutu Kewana hailed the win against Eersterivier. He cautiously welcomed the game against Scottsdene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThey are no walkovers. They are certainly a formidable challenge and there is a raging rivalry between the two teams.
