They must stop risking people\u2019s lives because they want to meet the target or arrive on time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t see the reason for long-distance drivers, particularly taxi and bus drivers, not to take a rest when they are tired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government needs to enforce a law to taxi owners to have two drivers in a taxi to assist each other on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Driving from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape is not a child\u2019s play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are many people who lost their lives on those roads. Most of the drivers do not have sufficient time to rest and they get tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They need to resist consuming energy drinks while they are driving, based on the perception that they will energise their bodies. We don\u2019t need any more road accidents this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enough is enough. Last year, we saw many road accidents all over the country. It is imperative for the drivers to take precaution and ensure their vehicles are roadworthy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no need for the traffic officers to tell or impound your car because it is not roadworthy as if you didn\u2019t know about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s stop risking our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is also the responsibility of the passengers to check the vehicle that they are going to use if it is roadworthy, and if not they have a right to inform the officers. Let\u2019s stop compromising with our lives because we want to go home. We\u2019ve seen some public transport taking overloads because they want to make money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, the pedestrians have a hand on some of the road accidents. They must stop drinking and walk. Or, if they are walking at night they must wear reflective gear.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
