Our government needs to do something about the spaza shops, particularly those owned by foreign nationals.

What is happening in Gauteng province is worrisome and will probably spread to other provinces. I have lost count of all the children who have died after allegedly eating snacks bought from “My Friend’s Spaza” shops. This is raising a lot of suspicions. We can’t have similar incidents within a short period, all affecting children.

It’s time for our government to introduce bylaws to monitor the spaza shops. The reality is that some of these foreign nationals care less about our well-being and are here to make money.

Our government needs to focus on their suppliers. Why are they allowed to have their own suppliers or supermarkets to get their stock?

They need to stock from our supermarkets or retail stores.

Some of their suppliers produce weird brands and no-one is questioning them. I believe these guys are on a mission to kill us. They are a threat to society and need to be monitored.

But I know our government will do nothing about it. In all the incidents in Gauteng not a single person has been arrested. The problem is that we are led by corrupt and greedy people who are only concerned about lining their own pockets.

They don’t care who says what as long their pockets are full. I don’t trust most of our government officials and it will take time to trust them again.

All we need are stringent laws that will reduce the powers from the foreign nationals. It is better to lose my child in a car accident than to die after eating chips supposedly bought with my money.
