An incident on Sunday 27 October that claimed the lives of two females and a male is under police investigation, with detectives attached to the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit in pursuit of the culprits.
On Sunday evening, around 20:20, police responded to a murder complaint, at the address in Site C, Khayelitsha. On arrival they saw the body of a young man, aged 26, lying in a passage with a gunshot wound. The bodies of two females, also in their 20s and both with gunshot wounds, were found in a shack not far away. The motive for the murders is yet to be determined.
