More than 600 people, including several learners of Bloemfontein schools, will feature in thepro­duction Hope in the House, performed in the Sand du Plessis Theatre from Thursday (18/05) to Saturday.

The play, about a family affected by the conflict in the Ukraine and Russia, shows the importance of not losing hope. Penned by Cornelis van Heyningen, director of the Creare Training Centre, it is a collaboration with the Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (Pacofs).

Learners of the Jim Fouché Primary School, HTS Louis Botha, Koot Niemann Primary School, Dr Böhmer School of Skills, Eunice Primary School, Rosenhof High School, Ridgefield Academy, Our Father’s Academy, Olive Ridge School, Onze Rust Primary School and Brandwag Primary School will participate.

The production starts at 19:00, with a special show on Friday at 11:00. Tickets are available on webtickets.co.za.
