Sowat 410 kinders van oor Bloemfontein heen kon Donderdag as deel van die jaarlikse Joy for Charity-projek gratis in Bloemskou<\/a> se pretpark baljaar voordat die skou vandag amptelik begin het.
Bloemskou, in samewerking met Fun Carnivals, Ola-roomys en Checkers het kinders van Engo se kinderhuise asook kinders van Klub X genooi om ‘n uur lank onbeperkte ritte in die pretpark te geniet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klub X is ‘n groep vrywilligers van die Heidedal-gemeenskap wat elke jaar ‘n uitgesoekte groep behoeftige kinders in die skole in Heidedal ondersteun. Die meeste van di\u00e9 kinders was nog nooit by Bloemskou nie en dit was hul heel eerste keer om op die ritte in die pretpark te ry.
Met hul aankoms is elke kind en die sowat 46 toesighouers bederf met ‘n gratis roomys met die vergunning van Ola.
Danksy die weer wat saamgespeel het n\u00e1 die afgelope tyd se deurdringende re\u00ebn, kon die honderde kinders in sonskynweer die pretritte geniet.
Die gille van lekkerkry het opgeklink terwyl die kinders in die rondte getol het, op en af op die ‘Jets’ te ry, of om-en-om te tol in die teekoppies in die Pretpark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Wat ‘n voorreg is dit om op so ‘n manier ook terug te gee aan die gemeenskap en ‘n glimlag op elke kind se gesig te kon plaas,” s\u00ea Elmarie Prinsloo, uitvoerende hoof van Bloemskou oor hierdie jaarlikse instelling voor die skou begin.Vanjaar is daar 36 ritte in die pretpark waarvan ses nuwe ritte is.
