Sy het die vorige rekord (11.58) wat sedert 2006 staan, reeds Donderdag in die semi-finaal tot 11.50 verbeter. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Volgens w\u00eareldatletiek is haar nuwe rekord die vinnigste tyd tot dusver in 2025, in internasionale atletiek deur ‘n o.18-vroueatleet.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rum\u00e9 is die eerste Oranjeniet in etlike jare om in die 100m op di\u00e9 rekord te verbeter. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Haar nuwe rekord in die 200m is 23.35 met die vorige rekord (23.57) wat in 2023 opgestel is. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Haar tye is selfs beter as die Vrystaat- en Motheo-rekords wat sy vroe\u00ebr die jaar opgestel het.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Op die Vrystaatbyeenkoms in Maart het Rum\u00e9 die Vry- staat-rekords in albei items laat spat. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sy het die rekord in die 100m (11.70) verbeter van 12,00 wat sedert 2003 staan. In die 200m het sy die rekord van 24.85 na 23.76 (wat staan sedert 2008) verbeter. Haar optog het begin op die Motheo\/Xhariep-byeenkoms in Februarie waar sy die 100m rekord verbeterhet na 11.55, en die 200m verbeter tot ‘n tyd van11.55.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dit was nie net Rum\u00e9 wat die Oranjeniete laat juig het nie. Dit was die beste wat di\u00e9 skool se atlete in die geskiedenis van die nasionale atletiekbyeenkoms behaal het.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die atlete het vier goue medaljes gewen. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
