brings hype"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fast, fun and energetic sevens rugby was expected when the third Frogfoot Sevens Tour\u00adnament took place at the Sentraal High School on Saturday (03\/09).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tournament series started in August and will be extended to several more schools in September and October before the final match on 5 November in Pretoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sporting event is designed to create a platform for U17 players and to unearthing potential across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miranda du Preez, head of brand activations at Frogfoot, says that the idea for the tournament was born from the wish to give something back to communities, especially in the light of current challenges and the drought of festival-type events brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. <span>This, in addition to<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, <span>while <\/span>the tournament <span>is also <\/span><span>providing<\/span>provides another platform for South Africa\u2019s immensely talented school players to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 13 schools (some of which <span>some <\/span>entered more than one team) from Bloemfontein and Kimberley, as well as towns across the Eastern Cape, took part on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bloemfontein teams were from Sentraal, Grey College, Sand du Plessis High School, <span>THSHTS <\/span> Louis Botha THS, Fichardtpark High School and Jim Fouch\u00e9 High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners were in diffirent categories were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> cup \u2013 Grey College;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plate \u2013 Fichardtpark; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bowl \u2013 HTS Louis Botha THS; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> shield \u2013 Diamantveld High
