The Medical Registrar at the Universitas Academic Hospital Dr Patrick Kint (36), passed away on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Universitas Academic Hospital CEO, Dr Balekile Mzangwa, has expressed shock and sadness at the untimely death of Kint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time of his death, he was working at Anaesthesia Clinical Unit in the facility. He was the Medical Registrar since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are absolutely devastated at the loss of such a wonderful young doctor,\u201d Mzangwa said in a news release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDr Kint\u2019s sudden death is a great loss to our hospital and the Free State Department of Health, but even more so to his loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHis loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers and we wish them much strength at this difficult time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDr Kint\u2019s contribution to the healthcare system and service to our people is much appreciated. He will be greatly missed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The life of Dr Kint will be celebrated at a memorial service to be held at the University of Free State, Metro 4 on Wednesday, 20 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will be laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 23 March.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
