Robberts s\u00ea die kinders wat by die sentrum beland, is almal deur \u2019n traumatiese ervaring \u2013 wat van kind tot kind verskil. Die sentrum huisves 20 kinders tussen die ouderdom van ses en 21 jaar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie tweede huis wat ons ontvang het, gaan ons nou in staat stel om die laer-en ho\u00ebrskoolmeisies te skei en meer van hulle te help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy s\u00ea hulle is reeds \u2019n geruime tyd al by volle kapasiteit en kon eenvoudig nie meer kinders help nie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie Covid-19-pandemie het veroorsaak dat al hoe meer kinders en gesinne in haglike omstandighede moes bly. Die nood is ontsettend groot in Bloemfontein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie persoon by wie ons die huis gekoop het, was egter besig om vernuwings en aanbouings te doen en het dit nie voltooi nie. Voordat ons kan intrek, sal ons die huis moet klaarmaak en gereed moet kry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die behoefte is veral groot om meisies wat skool voltooi het, daar te hou totdat hulle onafhanklik kan begin werk en lewe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDie probleem wat ons nou ervaar, is dat die Kinderwet nie voorsiening maak vir kinders bo die ouderdom van 18 jaar nie. Dit beteken s\u00f3 \u2019n inwoner moet die jeugsentrum verlaat. Dit is hartseer, want sy het steeds drome en ideale vir die toekoms, maar het dan skielik nie \u2019n ondersteuningsnetwerk nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDit is regtig ons hart om die meisies te help om op hul eie voete te staan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robberts s\u00ea die nuwe huis help om vir die skoolverlaters \u2019n heenkome te bied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOns glo dat die jare se liefde, ondersteuning en nodige terapie wat ons in die meisies se lewe bel\u00ea, volbring moet word. Ons wil h\u00ea dat elke meisie die kans moet kry om die beste weergawe van haarself te word en die volwasse lewe vanuit \u2019n ondersteunende omgewing aan te durf.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sy s\u00ea hulle is baie opgewonde, maar die uitgawes gaan ook meer wees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOns sien nog altyd die Here se genade oor die sentrum. En ons is dankbaar daarvoor. Ons wil mense egter vra om betrokke te raak op enige manier wat hulle kan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rig navrae aan Robberts by
