The Sunflower House, a children\u2019s hospice at the National Hospital in Bloemfontein, has received much-needed aid that enables it to continue providing care for the most vulnerable children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The donation will provide warmth and comfort to children in the centre\u2019s care, comprising blankets, toiletry products, and snack hampers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The donation was presented to the centre on Friday, 31 May, by members of the BloemNews <\/span>and BloemExpress <\/span>team, publications of the Central24 media group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The gesture of goodwill forms part of the organisation\u2019s community initiative and is supported by various private entities, upholding the thriving human spirit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Very Rev. Lazarus Mohapi, Anglican dean of Bloemfontein, has expressed great appreciation towards this gesture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere is a real need to change the face of the world. This is far-reaching in efforts towards improving the lives of these children. They are the most vulnerable, needing care and support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis gesture is heart-warming because it resonates with the call that when we leave this world, we should have made an impact to leave it a better place. Also, with the teachings in the Bible, to love, these children is our responsibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFurthermore, the Bible teaches and encourages us to love our neighbours as ourselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaking the world better means that we should love and care for our fellow human beings,\u201d said Mohapi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Lucielle Kreling, sales consultant of Central24, said the thriving human spirit inspired the initiative to aid children and improve their lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThank you from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone who helped make this project a huge success. Without you guys it would not have been possible,\u201d said Kreling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAlso, a big thank you to the Very Rev.
