A total of 16 U12 and U13 hockey teams of 11 schools from across South Africa visited the Eunice High School for the first-ever Nika Coertzen Hockey Tournament, which was held from Friday 2 August to Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Eunice astro hosted 230 players and 30 officials over the weekend, many of whom commented that they learnt a lot and enjoyed each moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coertzen, Eunice\u2019s first team coach, says the aim of this festival was to let players grow in confidence and enjoy themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winner of the tournament was the Jordania Primary School from Bethlehem, with Our Lady of Fatima from Durban taking second place, and the Laerskool Garsfontein placing third.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
