Boonop, n\u00e1 &#8216;n gelukkige trekking het een deelnemer, Hendrik Coetzee, so &#8216;n splinternuwe model gewen &#8211; die Toyota Hilux Xtra Cab. Dit gaan nie net gegaan oor die poging om rekords te verbeter nie, maar ook oor die blywende nalatenskap van die Hilux en die sterk gemeenskap wat dit omring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Die byeenkoms was &#8216;n lewendige uitstalling van die Hilux-bakkie se plaaslike geskiedenis sedert sy Suid-Afrikaanse debuut in 1969.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hierdie-wereldrekords-verbeter\">Hierdie w\u00eareldrekords verbeter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Met Woensdag se aanteken van die w\u00eareldrekord van die meeste Hilux-bakkies op een plek, verbeter Toyota Suid-Afrika sy eie prestasie van 2010 toe 496 Hilux-bakkies in die <a href=\"https:\/\/iol.co.za\/motoring\/bikes\/2010-11-03-hiluxes-set-world-record-in-atlantis-dunes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Atlantis-duine<\/a> in die Wes-Kaap saamgetrek het. Di\u00e9 rekord is amptelik deur Guinness Book of World Records geverifie\u00ebr en aangeteken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025 het Southland Toyota in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drivencarguide.co.nz\/news\/toyota-hilux-world-record-smashed-at-southland-farm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nieu-Seeland <\/a>egter di\u00e9 rekord verbeter.
