Bloemfonteinse tweekamp-atlete het uitgeblink op die 49ste Suid-Afrikaanse tweekamp-kampioenskapsbyeenkoms wat in Maart in Oudtshoorn aangebied is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Altesaam 890 atlete van oor die land heen het aan die byeenkoms op 20 en 21 Maart deelgeneem, met sowat 2 500 toeskouers wat hulle ondersteun het.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Suid-Vrystaatse juniors was algeheel vyfde uit 14 streekspanne wat deelgeneem het, terwyl ‘n sterk Suid-Vrystaatse senior span algeheel vierde was. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vyf Suid-Afrikaanse rekords is op die byeenkoms in die 25 groepe opgestel, met die Suid-Vrystaat wat met twee van di\u00e9 rekords spog.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jayme Sue Vermaa<\/strong>s, wat in die senior vroue-afdeling meeding, het een van di\u00e9 twee prestasies vermag en daarmee saam goud verwerf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die ander rekord is opgestel deur Archie Markgraaff<\/strong>, wat in die afdeling vir mans 80 jaar goud behaal het, met 2 055 punte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lynette Fischer<\/strong>, wat in die afdeling vir vroue 60 jaar meeding, het goud verwerf in haar afdeling, met 2 164 punte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adri Vermaas<\/strong> het ook goud verwerf, met 2 132 punte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Francois Deacon<\/strong> het met 2 109 punte ‘n bronsmedalje in sy afdeling, mans 40, verwerf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
