Vanjaar is ‘n mooi bedrag van R315 000 deur ondernemings, kerke en individue aan BloemNuusExpress<\/em> se Kersfonds geskenk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is op 25 Maart deur die Kersfondskomitee onder 25 Vrystaatse welsynsorganisasies verdeel. Geregistreerde welsynsorganisasies kon om ‘n bydrae aansoek doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Kersfonds is ‘n onafhanklike fonds wat onder die vaandel van BloemNuusExpress bestuur word en bestaan uit verteenwoordigers van Novus Media, gemeenskapsverteenwoordigers en lede van Engo wat help met die administrasie van die fonds. Enige geregistreerde welsynsorganisasie sal in die komende jaar om ‘n bydrae aansoek kan doen.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Terwyl die bydraes kleiner is as wat die nood is, is die effek van bydraes juis soveel groter. Elke instansie wat uit die Kesfonds geld ontvang, getuig dat die bydrae in baie gevalle die druppel aan die emmer is wat die emmer volmaak. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ons maak inderdaad deur die Kersfonds ‘n reuse-verskil in die bre\u00ebr gemeenskap, oor ‘n baie wye spektrum van werksaamhede.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aansoekers wat vanjaar geld ontvang het, sluit in: die Vereniging vir Mense met Gestremdhede (APD); Anchor of Hope; Aurora; Child Welfare in Welkom; Genade in Aksie<\/a>; CHOC<\/a>; NFS Caregivers in Kroonstad; die Salineni-dagsorgsentrum in Bethlehem; Solidariteit Helpende Hand se studiefonds; Suid-Vrystaat Geestesgesondheid; Torings van Hoop; en die Vereniging vir Blindes Vrystaat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een van die maniere waarop gereeld ‘n bydrae tot die Kersfonds gelewer word, is veilings. Onder leiding van Attie en Betsie Roux, en met die hulp van Pieter Erasmus en sy span van Bainsvlei-afslaers, word veilings aangebied waaruit ‘n deel van die kommissie aan die Kersfonds geskenk word.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skenkings wat vanjaar gedoen word, sal vroeg in 2027 onder welsynsorganisasies verdeel word.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
