Organisers of the Vrystaat Arts Festival call on choreographers to apply to present their works on the programme being planned for October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be featured as part of the New Dance Umbrella, which involves new works of contemporary choreographers invited to create and collaborate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Application closes on Thursday (10\/03) and can be accessed by visiting form.jotform.com\/\u00ad210662097027554.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChoreographers can apply to present their work as part of the programme, which promises to be an experience not to be missed,\u201d says Georgina Thomson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organisers will be launching the first edition of the New Dance Umbrella in style from 4 to 9 July. The main programme will be presented from 2 to 8 October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event in October promises to be a spectacle, with the two commissioned works that include Zann<\/i> by Fana Tshabalala, a co-production with French composer Benjamin Magnin, which looks at isolation and loneliness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lorin Sookool will premiere a new untitled work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In July, Bloemfontein-based artist Thami Majela will premiere the work POP<\/span>, which was co-created with French choreographer Matthieu Nieto<\/i>, in the Free State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For
